The PostFinance conciliation office mediates in civil disputes between customers and PostFinance which are unable to be satisfactorily resolved without intervention.
The conciliation office is committed to neutrality. It represents neither the interests of the party calling upon the services of the conciliation office nor those of the opposite party. Accordingly, it does not have to take any instructions from the parties or from external persons, organs or institutions.
The conciliation office has no authority to issue instructions. It draws up recommendations with the aim of getting them accepted by both parties and avoiding court proceedings.
