Ombudsman PostFinance Foundation

An independent, federal foundation has been created under the name "Ombudsman PostFinance", with registered office in Berne pursuant to Art. 80 ff of the Swiss Civil Code.
According to its Articles of Association dated xx November 2008, the foundation’s object is to offer PostFinance customers the option of calling upon an ombudsperson in the event of disputes with PostFinance.
The ombudsperson mediates in dealings between PostFinance and its customers, is independent and neutral and has no decision-making authority.  

Founder

The founder is "Swiss Post", which fully funds the foundation.

Board of Trustees

Marlis Koller-Tumler, President
Dr. Marlis Koller-Tumler is a lecturer in Swiss and European Consumer Law at the University of Berne and Deputy President of the Federal Consumer Affairs Commission Eidgenössische Kommission für Konsumentenfragen (EKK).

Reiner Eichenberger

Prof. Reiner Eichenberger is an Ordinary Professor of Finance at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and Research Director of CREMA (Center for Research in Economics, Management, and the Arts).
His specializations are: economic and financial policy, economic analysis of the political process and political institutions, deregulation of politics, and the link between the economy and psychology.
He is Managing Editor of Kyklos, a member of the Federal Communications Commission (comcom) and was formerly a part-time judge at the Federal Competition Appeals Commission Eidgenössische Rekurskommission für Wettbewerbsfragen.

Armin Brun

Armin Brun is the Head of Market & Sales, as well as deputy Head of PostFinance and Board member. The economist holds a postgraduate qualification in bank management and further certification in managerial leadership.  Before moving to PostFinance in 2001, he held various positions in marketing, sales and management at Luzerner Kantonalbank.
